What is available at the Shop -

We buy only the finest selected Westcountry meats. All our beef, lamb and pork arrives at the shop in carcass form and is prepared on the premises to the highest standards by our well trained butchers. All beef is matured for at least two weeks ensuring it is at its best when it reaches the table.

Being an independent butcher and buying all our meats as carcasses we are able to prepare any cut of meat in any manner, all you need to do is tell us what you would like us to prepare. We have prepared old fashioned Aitch bone joints, crown roasts, guards of honour, saddles of lamb plus many more specialty cuts.

At Barrett Bros, we believe in selling only the finest Meat and Meat Products, which is why we produce so much ourselves.

Since 1991 we have cured bacon the old fashioned way,
this gives greater flavour and less weight loss when cooking,
as most other bacon is pumped with a brine solution.

- Homemade Sausages & Burgers.
Only the finest ingredients go into our Sausages & Burgers.
Made on a daily basis with usually 10-12 varieties available
you can be sure of finding something you like.

- Home Cooked Meats & Meat Products.
Our range of quality home cooked meats include
Best Gammon Ham, Roast Beef, Roast Pork, Roast Turkey,
all of which are available freshly sliced to order or in
vacuum sealed packets. Also available are freshly cooked
Hot Spit Roasted Chickens.
Meat products include Faggotts, Black Pudding
and our own Pure Beef Dripping (great for chips).

- Home Made Pies & Quiches.
Our Pies & Quiches are hand made on the premises useing only
the finest ingredients available year round.

We have a very wide range of tasty ideas for the barbecue.
Available year round they range from the ever popular chinese style

Our cheese selection changes regularly, with 25-30 British and Continental cheeses to choose from you are sure to find something to delight your tast buds. We cut to size and you can try before you buy.
